After more than a year of learning, practicing, and improving, the TPS journey at VPIC Group has reached its final milestone with a meaningful closing session. This was not only an opportunity to look back on the knowledge gained and results achieved, but also an important milestone recognizing a significant change: a continuous improvement mindset is gradually becoming part of the way we work every day.
The final TPS course summary session was attended by the full Board of Directors and Leadership Team of VPIC Group, along with our valued consulting instructors, who have directly accompanied, guided, and inspired our teams throughout this journey.
One of the most valuable aspects of the TPS journey at VPIC Group has been the strong focus on learning through hands-on experience.
Our teams stepped onto the shop floor, observed processes firsthand, followed operators as they performed their daily work, and worked together to identify real issues and opportunities for improvement because continuous improvement cannot happen from behind a desk.
To improve effectively, we need to go to the actual workplace. To truly understand a problem, we need to see it for ourselves. And to develop the right solution, we need to work closely with the people who perform the job every day and find better, more effective ways of doing it.
Through these firsthand observations, many improvement ideas were identified, developed, and implemented.
Some improvements came from something as simple as a small movement at work, a single process step, or a layout that was not yet fully optimized. When we identify and address these opportunities, even small changes can create meaningful value and improve efficiency across the production process.
The final TPS course summary session marked the end of more than a year of training, but it also opened the door to a new journey.
Because after the classroom, the most important question is not how many concepts we have learned, but how VPIC Group will continue to apply them to our actual work.
The continued support and guidance of the Board of Directors, Leadership Team, and our consulting instructors throughout this journey have provided a strong foundation for our teams to learn, gain practical experience, and gradually develop their continuous improvement capabilities.
