After every production run, the tooling is kept in our warehouse, but we check for signs of wear down before storing it.  In the measurement room, our engineers use the CMM to measure the tooling after every production run to ensure it is ready for the next run. Due to the high strength of the material used in tooling manufacturing, traditional removal material techniques are unsuitable, which is why EDM is a vital step in the process.
