On February 5, 2026, the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee held a Conference to meet with Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Enterprises, attended by more than 300 FDI companies currently operating in the province. The event served as an important forum to strengthen connections and provide opportunities for the business community to engage in direct dialogue with provincial leaders on production and business conditions, challenges and obstacles, and to propose solutions to improve the investment environment and promote sustainable development.
The conference was attended by Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Kim Long, Standing Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, along with leaders from provincial departments and agencies and representatives of foreign business associations.
During the event, the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee presented Certificates of Merit to 14 outstanding FDI enterprises in recognition of their strong performance and meaningful contributions throughout the 2024–2025 period. VPIC Group was honored as a distinguished recipient, recognized for its continued commitment to manufacturing excellence and its positive contributions to local socio-economic development.
Representing VPIC Group, Vice Chairman Mr. Peter Wu attended the ceremony and received the Certificate of Merit on behalf of the company. In addition, Chairwoman Ms. Winnie Lee represented GPMI in accepting the commendation from provincial leadership.
Beyond serving as an important dialogue platform between the business community and government authorities, the conference also created valuable opportunities for FDI enterprises to strengthen collaboration and further contribute to Dong Nai's economic development strategy in the years ahead. The province reaffirmed its commitment to supporting businesses throughout their investment, manufacturing, and operations, reinforcing Dong Nai's position as a dynamic, business-friendly investment destination in Vietnam.
